Porthcawl’s second string put up another good performance and led for much of the match before Sports finally got in front to take the spoils. For the home side, tries were scored by Steve Phillips, Lloyd Turner and Matthew Cooke. Phillips and Jack Power added a conversion each. First Team Manager Ian MacDonald took charge of the side for this match and was particularly pleased with the effort they put in throughout, which holds them in good stead going forward.
